Foam Rollers have been used by Physiotherapists for client treatment in America and Europe for many years. They are recognized among sports professionals and ordinary people alike for their numerous health benefits. Obie Products Limited are proud to announce the introduction of the first foam roller molded in one piece. Until now the imported cross-linked closed cell foam roller has been made from sheet foam laminated and cut to shape - a process which wastes approximately 50% of the material. The Obie process avoids this waste by molding the roller in its finished form. In other words, no material is wasted in the making of these rollers. Obie Products Ltd has been able to source recyclable plastic, this constitutes over 60% of the finished product. This is Kiwi ingenuity in action for a world first, and production has commenced in our Christchurch factory. For those that sit at a desk in front of a computer all day, this simple exercise will be the most beneficial! Just lying and relaxing on the roller places your spine in the neutral position, realigning your whole posture. This offers a number of benefits including: better circulation, elimination of tension around the neck and spine (and therefore less headaches), reduced respiratory problems from opening up the chest and big improvements in posture.
